The Barcelona Essentials Pass gives you access to two attractions in Barcelona as well as free travel on public transport. Binding dates will be reserved for you for the attractions.

The Essentials Pass includes the Hola Travel Card. You use public transport free of charge for the entire duration of the Hola Travel Card. The following means of transport are included:

Metro incl. L9 from the airport to the city center
Streetcar
Buses (except night buses)
City and suburban trains from FCG
RENFE trains in zone 1

With the purchase you will receive a digital voucher by email, which you can exchange for the physical card when you arrive in Barcelona. Go to one of the TMB machines in the metro stations, click on "online collection" and enter the barcode (voucher number) under the QR code to print out the Hola Barcelona Travel Card.

Tip: With the Hola Travel Card you can use the metro line L9 from the airport to get to the city center of Barcelona.

How to make optimum use of the Essentials Pass

Book the Barcelona Essentials Pass in good time to get your preferred dates for visiting the Sagrada Família and Park Güell.

2) Download online tickets

You will receive digital tickets for the attractions, which you can print out or save on your phone. You will receive an online voucher for the Hola Travel Card, which you can also print out or save digitally.

3) Pick up Hola Travel Card

4) Activate the Hola Travel Card
